Permanent Residence
Permanent Residence in the USA, often referred to as "Green Card" status
is essentially available from the US Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization
Service to aliens via (1) US relatives (Relative Cases) (2) Occupational Eligibility
(Employment Cases) or (3) Diversity.
Relative Cases are self-explantory and involved US citizen or permanent resident relatives
- - parents, spouses, children.
Occupational Eligibility Cases, on the other hand, generally involve future employment
in the USA wherein the alien possesses a job skill in short supply in the USA, or
recognized extraordinary ability in the arts, sciences, or business, or the ability
to create new employment in the USA through new investment.
"Green Cards" are also available to a limited number of aliens via the
Diversity Program which is essentially an annual
"Green Card Lottery" or
lucky draw conducted by the US Department of State.
NAFTA-VISA.COM can assist anyone in all of the above areas.
