US Taxation

TN Visa holders are subject to US Income Taxation, and are required to pay both Federal and State Income Tax, with the exception that some states such as Nevada have no State Income Tax.

US Tax rates are progressive, however the top brackets are much lower than other industrialized countries.

The present US Income Tax rates on earned income run from 15% to 28%. Individuals with very high income in the six figures may be subject to a slightly higher percentage.

All TN Visa holders, once in the United States, will be required to obtain a US Social Security card.

NAFTAVISA does not provide tax advise, and all potential visa applicants should seek out their own respective tax advisor.
